Sevilla, Spain

Having just gotten off the plane after traveling for almost 24 hours, I am absolutely exhausted. My family and I have just arrived in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Sevilla. My exhaustion is telling me to go to sleep, but I can’t help but explore. We are here for just one night before we head to a beach town in Huelva called Punta Umbria. The hotel we are staying at is called Hotel Juderia and is a maze of beauty, literally. There are underground passages that lead to a myriad of outside terraces and fountains, and the smell of blooming flowers is overwhelming. If anyone ever goes to Sevilla I highly recommend this hotel! My mouth immediately salivates as we sit down for dinner and the first plate of jamon iberico (spanish ham is cured for 12 months before eaten) comes out. We are off to Punta Umbria tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited. I have spent every summer in this little fishermen town since I was little, and for me it is absolute paradise.
