London Calling

After a spontaneous, last minute decision I found myself touching down in London. The last time I was here I was very little, so I didn't remember a lot . I began my day waking up in the small but eclectic room at Soho House in Shoreditch Village. Across the street from Soho House lies an awesome outdoor shopping center, constructed entirely from discarded shipping containers, hosting different retail and food spaces called Box Park. Shoreditch is also well known for its abundance in thrift stores on every conner (as you can imagine, it took me a while to get through there). After my vintage heaven excursion I wandered into the world-famous music store, called Rough Trade Records. It is one of the raddest record labels featuring artists like Adam Green and The Strokes. Later, I made my way towards the center of London where I experienced the grand architecture and art of the British Museum. On Oxford street I stumbled into the amazing Tiger store. It is like an Ikea toy store!  It also has a way of convincing you that you desperately need every single piece of merchandise in there. Finally I entered TopShop and immediately got lost (that store is HUMUNGO). I ended dinner at the very mysterious  Chiltern Firehouse ( I recommend there oysters, crab donuts, and ALL of the desserts).
